Stained Polished Concrete Interior Floor
Staining dye for concrete polishing is a translucent color acetone base that is formulated using extremely
fine molecules of color designed to penetrate and color any cementicious surface. Concrete dye stain is
not a paint or coating agent, rather, it is a coloring process involving an internal chemical reaction
on the floor produced by the application of a coloring solution designed to color a surface by penetration
without hiding it. Stained polished concrete looks very well on new or old concrete, decorative polymer
overlays, and self leveling products. Each concrete slab accepts dye stain in different degrees of
intensity, creating stunning multi-hued color variations for a perfectly look that will not chip, crack
or peel under normal wear conditions.
How does dye color work?
Fine color molecules penetrate into the concrete giving the floor a natural stone effect along with the
polished floor shine.
How Does dye color is applied?
It is applied with a pump sprayer in 400 grip resine polish pad and locked with densifier seal. If intensive
tone color is deseired two coats are recommended.
Benefits of the dye color application on polish concrete floor:
- It is part of the concrete floor, not a top coating.
- Variety of colors.
- Eco friendly
- Lower cost
Stained Polished Concrete Exterior Floor
Color Juice Staining is a new technology created to beautify exterior floors. Protecting them from weather
factors such as rain and sun. This new coloring system is resistant to UV Rays and therefore does not fade
or flake because the color is penetraded into the concrete floor. Color Juice is a silicate compound that
has the same properties as any polished concrete system. The Silicate reacts with the concrete paste,
making the concrete durable, stain and abrasion resistant. Also, it requires minimum maintenance because
re-application is not needed. Unlike with topical products such as paint, acrylic or urethanes that
require periodic application to protect the finished floor from weather factors.
How is it done?
The surface must be honed, with low reflectivity at 100-200 grit polishing grade to comply with ADA (American
Disability ADA) slip resistance standards
- Outside areas 0.50 to 0.79 ADA
- Inside areas 0.59 - 0.86 ADA
BENEFITS:
- Interior and exterior
- No chipping and no peeling
- Durable
- Variety of colors
- Can be applied to any cement surface
- Anti-Staining and UV stable
- Easy to clean and maintain
- Slip resitance (ADA Regulations)
- Natural look finish
- Environmentally friendly
