Stained Polished Concrete Exterior Floor
Color Staining is a technology created to beautify exterior floors using dyes.
Protecting them from outside factors such as rain and sun. This system is
resistant to Ultra Violet Rays and therefore will not fade or flake. The
color/dye is infused into the concrete floor. Color Staining has a silicate
compound that has the identical properties as any polished concrete System. The
Silicate in the system reacts with the concrete, making the concrete durable,
stain and additional Abrasion resistant. This process requires minimum
maintenance because there is no need for re-application. Topical products such
as paint, acrylic or urethanes require regular application to protect the
finished floor from weather factors.
How does it work?
The concrete floor must be honed to a 100 to a 200 grit honed shine. This also
benefits for ADA requirements for slip resistance standards
- Outside areas .50 to .79
- Inside areas .59 to .86
- Environmentally friendly
- Natural look
- Slip resistance
- Interior and Exterior applications
- Easy to maintain
- Durable
- UV resistant/Anti staining
- Applicable to any cementations material
- No chipping or peeling
- Variety of Colors
